On this page we explain our terms and conditions pertaining to general running and expectations, if you are keen to know more, then call us today or ask for a quotation.

Highline Adventure Limited personnel will deliver the equipment to the site and erect it. They will also dismantle the equipment at the end of the hire period and remove it from the site. A suitable area for the erection of the equipment is required.:-

Climbing Wall - We recommend this is a level area of hard standing or a firm grass 10m X 13m in size. Highline Adventure Ltd staff will have the final say in the suitability of the site for safety reasons. If access is limited or you are unsure of the suitability of the site please discuss it with us before booking.

Bouldering Wall – We recommend this is a level area of hard standing or a firm grass 15m X 8M in size. Highline Adventure Ltd staff will have the final say in the suitability of the site for safety reasons. If access is limited or you are unsure of the suitability of the site please discuss it with us before booking.

Skatepark – We recommend this is a level area of tarmac or concrete 20m X 20m minimum in size. For use only with BMX bikes firm smooth grass is suitable. Highline Adventure Ltd staff will have the final say in the suitability of the site for safety reasons. If access is limited or you are unsure of the suitability of the site please discuss it with us before booking.

Halfpipe - We recommend this is a level area of tarmac or concrete 10m X 15m minimum in size. Highline Adventure Ltd staff will have the final say in the suitability of the site for safety reasons. If access is limited or you are unsure of the suitability of the site please discuss it with us before booking.

The event organiser is responsible for ensuring that there are suitable crowd control arrangements in order to keep the viewing audience at least 3m from the edge of the equipment.

Climbing Walls- Users of the climbing wall must use appropriate safety equipment. Highline Adventure Ltd agrees to supply for use during staffed events such as safety equipment. Please advise us if your organisation has a policy on helmet usage.

Unstaffed climbing wall rentals i.e. With supervision staff provided by the hirer, are without equipment unless specifically agreed in writing at the time of booking. All equipment used must conform to industry safety guidelines. Highline Adventure Ltd can take no responsibility for the hirer's equipment. Operation/erection/dismantling of the climbing wall must only be carried out by trained and appointed persons. Please ask at the time of booking if you are likely to require such training.

Skateparks / Half pipes - Users of the skatepark must use appropriate safety equipment. Highline Adventure Ltd agrees to supply for use during staffed events such as safety equipment. Helmets must be worn by all participants. Knee and elbow pads will be provided and must be worn by all participants. Please advise us if your organisation has a policy on safety equipment.

Unstaffed skatepark rentals i.e. With supervision staff provided by the hirer, are without equipment, unless specifically agreed in writing at the time of booking. All equipment used must conform to industry safety guidelines. Highline Adventure Ltd can take no responsibility for the hirer's equipment. Erection/dismantling of the skatepark must only be carried out by trained and appointed persons. Please ask at the time of booking if you are likely to require such training.

Responsibility & Replacement

The hirer is responsible for insurance during unstaffed rentals, both for the activity and replacement of the wall.

The climbing wall has a replacement cost of £25,350 and auto belays are £1,100 each, all plus VAT.

The bouldering wall has a replacement cost of £9,000 plus VAT

The halfpipe has a replacement cost of £9,000 plus VAT.

the skatepark has a replacement cost of £25,000 plus VAT.

If Highline Adventure Ltd supplies staff for the event they will be suitably trained, CRB checked (if appropriate) and at least one will have a current first aid qualification.

Our aim is to allow all to experience climbing on our walls and/or skating on the skate ramps, but Highline Adventure Ltd retain the right to limit participation for safety or other reasons.

Highline Adventure Ltd has in place Public Liability Insurance (£5,000,000).

No discount or reduction in fees will be made if the weather or other conditions outside the control of Highline Adventure Ltd preclude all or part of the event taking place.

Our conditions of payment are:

25% fee must be paid on booking, fully refundable if cancellation is 12 weeks or more prior to the event. This is otherwise non-refundable unless Highline Adventure Ltd are able to replace the booking with one of equal or higher value in which case Highline Adventure Ltd will make an administration charge of £25.

The remaining 75% of the fee is to be paid 10 days prior to the event

If Highline Adventure Ltd fails to attend under no circumstances will consequential losses be met. Concerned hirers are advised to take out insurance to cover this eventuality. Further advice is available from Highline Adventure Ltd.
